The story behind Spiced Bourbon: Is there any other street in the world that conjures up as many memories as does New Orleans very own Bourbon street? From Voodoo to Jazz and Burlesque to Mardi Gras, Bourbon is the street where anything can, and does, happen. (Don’t believe it? Pick up a copy of “A Confederacy of Dunces” by John Kennedy Toole – considered by some to be the most accurate depiction of the French Quarter ever written. And it’s hilarious!) Or if you prefer, take a trip to New Orleans and experience the street for yourself.

Bourbon Street is a place where anything can happen. That includes finding inspiration for another amazing tea blend. When our brewmaster was on a visit he was taken back by the enticing aroma of toasted vanilla coming from an alley. He followed his nose to the hypnotizing smell, which led him to a makeshift shrine. That heavenly scent stayed locked in his memory, and was later used as inspiration to create Spicee Bourbon tea. Based on a South African rooibos, the Rooibos base is meant to represent the voodoo shrine he encountered. The result? It’s a sweet almondy rooibos blend with subtle notes of toasted vanilla.
