5 tips to boost your Iced tea
1. Add sugar to hot water
This helps the sugar completely dissolve into the tea, providing an even flavor and ensuring you won’t get a cup full of sugar at the end of the batch.
2. Cool tea before refrigerating
Cooling hot tea will make it cloudy. To ensure a clear, crisp iced tea, allow tea to cool to room temperature before chilling in fridge.
3. Keep it real
For the best iced tea flavors, only use real, freshly squeezed lemons. Artificial lemon juice is known to give iced tea a bitter, acidic taste.
4. Use Ice’d-Tea in your iced tea
Pour some of your iced tea into an ice cube tray and freeze. Use these cubes to chill your iced tea without watering it down. Yeah- it’s genius!
5. Use Cinnamon
When boiling water for the tea, add a cinnamon stick or two (not the powder).
This will add a unique kick to your iced tea that will have everyone coming back for seconds.
